I have retired the old thread (which can be found Here) because i felt it was getting too long for it's own good.
I'll kick off this new thread with my unfinished alternative soviet war factory (which i'm sure most of you already know about. Come to think of it, the last time i worked on it was just before i started the first forum! thats almost a year ago )

Theads can goon for ages, but its better to cloes VERY long threads to keep the MySQLdatabase running good.

why is the old buildings thread locked
basically, along with the battles in the flamers corner and the friendly advice offered by most people it was a distinguishing mark of this forum
the length of the thread meant that people actually had to look for what they wanted instead of just grabbing whatever... (i thought it was a good thing)
and theres a weird glitch which means that i cant access page 56

well i'm working on a heavy powerplant for the allies in 3dsmax, just have to get the textures working (i dont know how to get new ones into the program)

ah well i solved that to, copied the remapable colour from an already existing building and made a texture out of it
anyway here's a preview of my soon to come building, it will be my first one ever made in 3dsmax
what i still need to know is how to make animations, and how to convert it into an shp
some notes about it:
yes the base plate sucks, but i haven't really worked on it yet. gonna make a new texture to make it look more like the normal allied one.
i alsoknow there's some more texture glitches here and there, gonna fix them to
and the shading of the remappable parts doesn't look right either
i'm also gonna add more details, and maybe give it a glow from the inside
